MAKING THE INVISIBLE VISIBLE:
Highlighting Chicago's Native American Communities

Chicago has one of the largest urban Native American populations in the country, with Natives representing more than 150 different tribes call the city home. However, many Native Americans in Chicago feel like a "hidden minority" that is invisible.

This project aims to shed light on Chicago's Native communities and organizations, the work they are doing, the issues they face, and their visions for the future.
